First of all, we can’t resist sharing these films with you. The English slogan rightly proclaims that "life is too short to be boring."
And anyone who has ever got behind the wheel of chance to take the wheel of a
Clio RenaultSport will surely confirm this view. You just can’t get bored while driving Clio R.S..
Incidentally, the real connoisseurs among you might have immediately recognised the specific
“Clio RS 20th” in these films. The “20th anniversary” livery, and in particular the black roof and ice pearl paint, give it a sleek and sporty look that you can’t miss.
Let’s not forget that Clio celebrates its 20th birthday this year and Clio V6 & Clio R.S. are in the party mood as well for their 10th birthdays. We’ve seen lots of spirited initiatives from our passionate customers to celebrate the birthdays. For example, the fifth "Rasso Clio 2010”, which happened during the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of May weekend was a memorable meeting. Clio Forum and Clio Generation Association managed to bring together over 70 Clio throughout France so that one hundred
attendees could experience an extremely enjoyable weekend dedicated to Clio and all the passion aroused by the car.
It is funny to notice that the car which is pictured with all the Forum Clio and Generation Clio team attendees is the very same one which has been filmed in the adverts we mentioned above. And it is also a very special car on its own, as it wears the number#1 plate in the series.
In the same spirit of celebration, it is always good to hear that the “Clio V6 Passion” Club managed to gather an amazing plateau of 62 Clio V6 (including 5 Trophy) on the track at the Mas du Clos on June 20th. With 93 cars in total, the whole Renault Sport range from the early Clio Phase#1 to the latest Megane R.S. was nicely represented during this event. What a demonstration of pure passion from all these Renault Sport Clio fans! Thanks a lot to all of them.
Enthusiasts of the R.S. Monitor will be pleased to learn that Clio R.S. will soon offer this famous option. Twingo R.S. will also adopt it after the
summer holidays. Note that R.S. Monitor is an option which is truly trusted by all users: did you know that over 40% of customers choose it when purchasing their new Megane R.S.?
R.S. Monitor on Twingo R.S. and Clio R.S. will cover the following features: split lap, 0-60mph, Quarter Mile time measure, as well as the famous GG Diagram.
The main engine operating information is there as well (but not setting of the pedal mapping or “sport” mode ...)
