Inspired by “Twingo Concept” revealed at Paris 2006 Motorshow, the new Twingo Renault Sport is a sports car with an outgoing character. Twingo Renault Sport can be both Dr Twingo and Mr Sport! Flexible and lively at low revs, the Renault Sport engine of Twingo makes a sporty sound beyond 4 500 rev / min (thanks to a new exhaust manifold « 4 in 1 » made of lightweight but resistant steel). Thus, it offers an excellent balance between comfort, performance and sound quality. The power peak of 133 hp (98 kW) is reached at 6 750 rev /min, whilst the peak torque of 160 Nm is available at 4 400 rev / min.
Performance demands style. Twingo Renault Sport demonstrates its talent for performance, combining all the necessary features for the unique charm of a true sports car. A wide air inlet grille and fog lamp mouldings enhance the front end's personality. Together, the re-profiled sill panels, the widened tracks, the aerodynamic spoiler and the chrome-plated exhaust tailpipe give Twingo Renault Sport’s body a thoroughbred, muscular and technological character.
